🌎 Globetrotters Mystery Hour with Alecyn: Starts January 3 (four weekly sessions)

    • Ages 8-11

Kids will drop into a mystery country every week using GeoGuessr. Once there, they will explore and discover the features of this new land. Kids will listen to other languages, learn fun facts, and either make a craft or an easy and yummy no-cook meal from each mystery country (knife skills required.)

🎨 Art Herstory Series IV with Amber: Starts January 3 (four weekly sessions)

    • Ages 11-15

Kids will learn about amazing women in art history who were leaders of various art movements! In art history, the fathers and grandfathers are usually the ones we hear about who started specific art movements such as pop art. We’ll focus on the women who made their mark instead. This Series will look at artists like Corine Stettheimer, Arsila Do Amaral, Anita Malfatti and Hannah Hoch.

☃️ Seasonal STEAM Hour with Alecyn: January 3, 4, 10 and 11 (come to one or all!)

    • Ages 7-10

Kids will do hands-on, seasonally-based STEAM projects each week.

    • Ages 8-12

Kids will learn to sketch a different animal every week and learn animal fun facts!

🐒 Sock Monkeys with Heather: Starts January 5 (four weekly sessions)

    • Ages 10-14

Kids will learn the basics of hand sewing and then use their skills to create their very own, one-of-a-kind, sock monkey.

✍️ Creative Writing Club with Alecyn: Starts January 8 (four weekly sessions)

    • Ages 10-14

Your kid will have a ton of fun learning about writing and responding to wild and zany writing prompts. Kids will learn about the elements of language, play writing games and get to share fun and silly stories.

🖐️ Winter Animal Finger Puppets with Amber: Starts January 11 (three weekly sessions)

    • Ages 7-10

Kids will dig out their bags of scrap fabric and craft supplies and tell a winter animal story with finger puppets and an applique background.

🧱 Abstract Lego Sculptures with Amber: January 19 (10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. or Noon – 1:00 p.m.) or January 23

    • Ages 8-12

Kids will get inspired by historical abstract artists and play with elements of art with Lego-making! We’ll warm up with some LEGO art challenges and then make a final piece. Kids will document their creations digitally and put them in a final art show padlet, or share a stop motion of their piece.

    • Ages 6-10

Kids will embark on an exciting journey to uncover the secrets of nature’s winter survivors. How do animals last through the long, cold winters? Explore hibernation and some of the tactics that allow animals to survive during the coldest months.
