Organizations like SelfDesign can now take advantage of WorkSafeBC’s short-term coverage of up to three days covering pay shortfalls related to COVID-19, such as having symptoms, self-isolating and waiting for a test result. You can read WorkSafeBC’s announcement about this here.

This coverage is available for:

  1. Contractors covered by SelfDesign’s WorkSafeBC coverage, and
  2. Contractors who missed payments due to being unable to provide services and/or deliverables as a result of COVID-19.
