DnD: Pen | September 1 (8 sessions)

    • Ages 13-17

Get ready to explore a dynamic fantasy world in this DnD campaign! You will create a character, make decisions, deal with hidden dangers and make a difference in the world of Ren’dar.

Debate Club | September 2 (6 sessions)

    • Ages 11-13

Kids will learn the art of debate and participate in weekly debates on various topics. They will learn about making arguments and counter-arguments, practise their public speaking and critical thinking skills.

Build a Paper Airplane Launcher | September 3

    • Ages 5-9

Kids will learn how to fold a variety of paper airplanes, from classic designs to creative flyers. Then we’ll take it up a notch by building our own paper airplane launchers using simple household materials. Along the way, we’ll explore the basic physics behind flight!

Kids can work independently or with a parent to prep, cook and assemble this delicious kid-friendly meal!

Playwrights Circle | September 8 (4 sessions)

    • Ages 8-13

In this weekly workshop, kids are invited to bring their ideas, inspiration, and writing to share with others and work on writing their own original play. We’ll support each other in brainstorming, writing and editing and do weekly readings to hear how our plays are evolving.

The Great Egg Drop Challenge | September 22

    • Ages 8-15

Kids will design and build a device to protect an egg from a high drop. They will explore forces, impact, and problem-solving as they plan, create, test, and improve their design. Parental presence needed for the drop!

Chess Club | September 9, 16, 23, 30

    • Ages 11-14

Whether you’re a beginner learning how knights move or a seasoned player perfecting your endgame, kids will practice essential chess strategies, learn classic openings and tactics and challenge fellow players in friendly matches. Develop critical thinking, patience, and problem-solving skills while having fun on the board.

    • Ages 4-8

Get ready to paint, sculpt, design and create! In Art Lab, young artists will explore a different art medium each week, from watercolours and clay to collage, mixed media and more.

Piano 101 | September 14 (3 sessions)

    • Ages 8-11

In this series, we’ll explore keys, melodies, and chords, learn to build songs and play piano over drum grooves. With Dee’s background in Jazz, R&B, Pop, and Hip Hop, you’ll gain foundational skills while adding a soulful twist to your piano playing.

Parachute Challenge | September 29

    • Ages 4-10

In this science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) challenge, kids will be tasked with creating a parachute that ensures a safe landing for its passengers. We will dive into the world of science and engineering and complete this challenge together! Using household materials, we will work as a team to build mini parachutes.
