These July camps offer creative ways to learn new skills, connect with like-minded peers and make the most of summer!

🪭 Origami Camp with Alecyn

    • Starts July 8 (4 sessions): Ages 6-12

Your kiddo will learn basic Origami folds and make awesome paper sculptures each week. Fold an inflatable balloon, a jumping frog, paper animals, and other classic origami designs!

    • Starts July 8 (4 sessions): Ages 11-13

Join us for an intensive writing camp! This week-long camp will guide your young writer through building an idea into a story, developing characters, and resharing their writing with their peers!

👌 ASL Learning Adventures Camp with Jenna

    • Starts July 8 (3 sessions): Ages 6-9 or 10-14

Unlock a world of expression with American Sign Language (ASL)! Your kid will learn how to sign the alphabet, discover new ASL signs, communicate in basic conversations, ask questions, give directions, share stories, sing songs and have fun practicing with others!

📱 Cell Phone Photography Camp with Heather

    • Starts July 8 (3 sessions): Ages 10-14

Your kid will unlock their picture-taking powers while learning the rules of composition, the importance of lighting, and how to choose subjects. They’ll try out different settings on their phone and experiment with photo editing!

🦋 Metazooa & Metaflora Camp with Heather

    • Starts July 8 (3 sessions): Ages 9 – 13

Your kiddo will work with their peers to identify animals and plants before guesses run out! They’ll put their skills to the test while exploring taxonomy and using research skills to find clues.

✏️ Geometric Pencil Case Camp with Heather

    • Starts July 15 (4 sessions): Ages 10-15

Make a funky pencil case using shapes and sewing! Your kiddo will choose shapes and materials to unleash their creativity with these fun and functional pencil cases! Learn the basics of hand-sewing, following patterns, and cutting material to sew a unique pencil case!

🗝️ Online Escape Rooms Camp with Heather

    • Starts July 15 (4 sessions): Ages 10-13

If your kid loves finding clues, solving riddles and listening to stories, this is the activity for them! Kids play together to solve online escape rooms and then learn how to make their own ‘room’ using loads of new digital skills!

🔥 Compose Your Own Campfire Story Camp with Trisha

    • Starts July 15 or July 16 (4 sessions): Ages 8-10 or 11-14

Your kiddo will explore the craft of campfire storytelling. Classic “chillers and thrillers” will provide inspiration and guidance for how to structure and deliver spooky tales. Warm-up games and writing prompts will help spark their imagination!

📕 Sticker Book Camp with Amber

    • Starts July 22 (3 sessions): Ages 8-10 or 11-14

If your kid can’t have too many stickers, this camp is for them! We’ll make handmade stickers using paper, wax paper, tape and their favourite art supplies. They’ll learn how to hand bind a sticker book, add their own sticker collection and mix ‘em in with the stickers they made!

🥸 Claymation Camp with Alecyn

    • Starts July 22 (3 sessions): Ages 7-12

Your kid will have fun practicing the skills needed to make their own claymation movie. They’ll make clay characters, build dioramas, explore concepts of lighting and photography, and practice using digital software to bring their story to life!
