November at HomeLearners Network is all about creativity, connection and hands-on discovery! This month’s activities invite learners to explore their feelings, tell stories through art and music, and express their individuality in fun, meaningful ways.

From Minecraft adventures and heartfelt recipe books to nature-inspired mandalas and epic D&D (Dungeons & Dragons) quests, every activity is designed to be FUN while building real-world skills like empathy, collaboration and self-expression.

Each small-group session is guided by an expert educator who knows how to blend learning with play. We want to help your kids grow confidence, make new friends and celebrate what makes their learning journey their own.

🧩 Minecraft Education: Fun with Feelings with Corrina: November 3 (3 sessions)

    • Ages 5-9

Your kid will love exploring big emotions through Minecraft Education! They’ll build, create and collaborate while learning about empathy, gratitude and teamwork. Each challenge helps them understand feelings and express themselves!

🥘 Family Recipe Book with Amber: November 4 (4 sessions)

    • Ages 8-12

Your child will love capturing the flavour and stories behind favourite dishes through creative drawing and writing. They’ll learn design principles and produce a handmade book that’s perfect as a keepsake or a heartfelt gift.

🪡 Stitch Club with Amber: November 5 (3 sessions)

    • Ages 8-18

Your learner will bring new life to their clothes with creative mending and embroidery! They’ll explore slow fashion, learn stitching and repair techniques and express their unique style!

🚶🏾‍♀️The Heroic Journey with Tracy: November 7 (4 sessions)

    • Ages 8-12

Your child will embark on an exciting adventure while diving into stories, exploring what makes a true hero, and reflecting on their own strengths and goals. Through fun discussions and creative activities, they’ll chart their own heroic adventure by designing a unique map, mapping out goals and the steps to reach them!

🐉 D&D: Versaya’yat with Michael: November 10 (5 sessions)

    • Ages 15-18

Your teen will love diving into a rich fantasy world in this Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition campaign! They’ll create characters, make epic choices and face thrilling challenges as they shape the world of Ren’dar!

    • Ages 10-12

Your kid will create and sing a song inspired by the place they call home! Through storytelling, improvisation and music, they’ll explore what makes their home special and express gratitude for it. Each session celebrates creativity and connection!

    • Ages 11-15

Your child will love turning their favourite photos or drawings into a picture cube puzzle! Blending art, problem-solving and creativity with technology, kids assemble, decorate and test their puzzles before sharing with the group!

    • Ages 8-11

Your kid will create beautiful mandalas inspired by nature! They’ll explore patterns found in leaves, flowers and branches while expressing creativity and mindfulness. Each design celebrates the beauty of the natural world and helps kids find calm focus through art!
