🇫🇷 French: Intro Conversation (age 11-13) Camp with Lee Ann: March 2 (3 sessions)

Dive into French conversational basics and become a language explorer! Children will practice greetings, names and exchanging simple information through playful dialogues and activities!

🌎 Sounds from Around the World With Dee: March 3 (2 sessions)

Your child will dive into cultures from around the world through music! Each session explores a different continent, from Brazil to Africa to Europe! They’ll discover bands, genres and rich musical traditions.

Surrealism with Amber: March 4

Children will have fun exploring Surrealism through playing games and making art! They’ll learn art techniques such as automatic drawing, exquisite corpse and frottage, and might even discover something about their dreams or subconscious along the way!

🦸🏿♂️ The Heroic Journey Camp with Tracy: March 23 (4 sessions)

Your home learner will learn to think critically and creatively as they explore what makes a hero’s journey. Through engaging discussions and fun exercises, they’ll analyze characters, challenges and choices both in stories and in themselves!

🧵 Sewing Club – Stuffed Animal with Alecyn: March 25 (3 sessions)

- Ages 8-10
Your child will love learning how to make a sewing pattern and creating a favourite new stuffy! They’ll explore sewing stitches like the blanket stitch, the running stitch and learn to adapt a paper pattern using their imagination. No sewing machine needed!

✍️ Teen Writer Circle with Alecyn: March 25 (6 sessions)

Learners can join in weekly to share their writing, participate in weekly skills workshops, build community with fellow writers and keep themselves accountable as they work towards longer writing goals!

🪡 Weave and Stitch: Cardboard Loom with Heather: March 26 (4 sessions)

- Ages 11-16
Children will upcycle leftover cardboard into a DIY mini loom! They’ll use simple weaving and sewing skills to create their own pouch while learning about textiles and the weaving process!

🦊 Animal Songs & Art Adventures with Dee: March 26 (2 sessions)

- Ages 6-9
Learn fun facts about different animals, then make up and sing songs about them! Children will explore rhythm, melody, creativity and teamwork, then draw their animal to express what they’ve learned through art and music!

🌸 Spring Play with Alecyn and Jenn: March 31 (7 sessions)

Your child will write, direct and act in their own amazing fictional, mystery-themed theatrical production! They’ll learn vocal drills, play acting games, create costumes and star in a special Zoom theatrical production on the final day of the series!

Using aerial photos and satellite images, your child will discover patterns in rivers, mountains and farmlands, then turn shapes, colours and textures into original art!
