Nikki is leaving SelfDesign! OVer the past 15 years, she has been a SelfDesign parent, learning consultant, former chief learning officer, principal and vice principal. We spoke to Nikki about her SelfDesign experiences and the changes she has seen unfold and been part of at SelfDesign.
2021 was a busy year at SelfDesign. We launched new programs, new learner offerings, and dug deeply into our ongoing commitment to our guiding philosophy and to each other.
Acceptance and support for all facets of diversity is woven into every aspect of our organization and programs.
Meet Jessica and Lacey, the two learners whose designs appear on SelfDesign’s own Orange Shirt Day t-shirts. Learners were invited to submit designs for an Orange Shirt Day t-shirt, and all SelfDesign learners were then invited to vote on the designs.
The Village of Conversations is a safe, secure online forum is a gathering place for all members of our community to connect with each other, form friendships, ask questions, discuss resources, and be supported by each other and by SelfDesign’s B.C. certified educators.
This year, to enrich the at-home learning experience, SelfDesign Home Learning is providing learners and families with access to a suite of subscriptions to high-quality online learning opportunities.
